BATH & SHOWER TRAY REPAINTING KIT PROCESS
- Using the sponge and white vinegar cleaning spray provided, give the bath a thorough cleaning to remove any traces of grease, limescale, oils and dirt. Wipe dry with a clean lint free cloth.
- Wrap the abrasive wet & dry sandpaper around the included sanding sponge and lightly sand the bath or shower tray. Be careful to clean sanding dust from the whole room so no dust is raised during application and drying.
- Wipe with the included tack cloth to remove any traces of dust. Wipe clean again with clean water and dry.
- Using the low tack masking tape provided protect any areas such as taps and outlets that you do not wish to paint.
- Mix the Temadur 90 Paint with Hardener according to instructions with the provided mixing cup and strirrer for at least 2 minutes at 5:1 ratio.
- Pour the mixed paint into your tray and apply your first coat. Use the provided brush for any small awkward areas and then apply with the included roller, laying off in the same direction with even roller stroke. Be careful not to over apply the paint or overwork it as it drys.
- Allow approx. 4 hours between coats.
- At least two coats must be applied and in some cases a third coat may be required with dark colours applied over light colours.
- The bath or shower tray must be allowed to fully dry and cure for at least 7 days before use.
