delivery costs
Our delivery rate made by courier is €5.99 for Dublin and €6.99 for all other counties. You will be informed of delivery cost at checkout. Please note we have an approximate maximum order weight of 30kg.
This covers delivery to the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Orders usually are processed within 2-3 business days, in-stock items will generally ship within 2-3 business days. On rare occasions deliveries may take longer if a particular item is out of stock.
Please note that some lighting and wallpapers have to be ordered direct from suppliers. Please not we do not stock wallpapers in-store. Some lighting and wallpapers may take up to 3 weeks for delivery as they are ordered directly from suppliers. Please contact us for any questions or lead times.
Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If you have a query on stock availability please contact us by email: [email protected] or 01-2884488.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery.
If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

2. ordering
Making a purchase on our site is easy, just browse our store and click on any items that you wish to buy to put them into your shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Check Out” and you will be asked for the details that we need to be able to fulfill the order.
You will have an opportunity to check and correct any items in your order up until the point at which you place your order by clicking the “Buy” button on the checkout page. If you submit an order for goods via stillorgandecor.ie website, this will be treated as order/contract between stillorgandecor.ie and the customer.
We will acknowledge confirmation of your order by sending you an automatically generated e-mail accepting your order. You will also receive an automatically generated e-mails about each step of your order (payment confirmation, delays, shipment etc.)
The order contract will relate only to those specific goods which are referred to the shopping basket.
You should read and check the details in the confirmation e-mail to ensure that all products and details are correct. If the details in the email confirming your order are not correct, or if you are not satisfied with the details in the email, please contact us at [email protected].
The contractual language is English.
Where we accept your order, we have a legal duty to supply goods that are in conformity with these Terms and Conditions.
3. price & delivery costs
The information displayed on this site relating to pricing is subject to change by us without notice, but those on the site at the time of any order placed will be the prices applicable to that order.
Occasionally, an error may occur and goods may be incorrectly priced in which circumstances we will not be obliged to supply the goods at the incorrect price or at all. We will (at our discretion) either cancel your order and refund the price you have paid or use reasonable endeavours to contact you and ask you whether you wish to continue with the order at the correct price. If we are unable to contact you or you do not wish to continue with the order at the correct price, we will cancel your order and refund the price you have paid. However, where the correct price of the goods is less than our stated price, we may (at our discretion) continue with your order.
Unless stated otherwise, all prices include VAT (where applicable) but exclude delivery costs. Delivery costs can be looked up here.
4. availability & delivery
Please note that while we attempt to be as accurate as possible and make every effort to keep pictures up to date, it is impossible to be totally accurate. Colour-tones may vary depending on your computer’s screen settings and supplier/manufacturer’s specifications prices are subject to change at any time.
Many products also have rolling changes made through the course of their product life. Therefore, Stillorgan Decor does not warrant that product description or other content of this site is 100% accurate, complete, current or error-free.
Our stock turnover is very high and we will normally send out the most up to date model unless it specifies otherwise in the product description.
The information displayed on this site relating to availability is subject to change by us without notice. We cannot guarantee permanent or continuous availability of all products on this site. All orders are subject to availability at all times.
We will deliver the goods ordered by you to the address you give us for delivery at the time you make your order on this site.
Delivery will be made according to the information on the product pages after your order is accepted.
We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver the goods on any specified date we agree, or if no date is specified, within 30 days after the day on which we accept your order. In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our reasonable control (for example, adverse weather conditions, unpredictable delays caused by traffic congestion, road works, diversions or mechanical breakdowns, in each case to the extent beyond our reasonable control) we may not be able to deliver the goods within these timescales and we will not be liable for any delay or failure to deliver the goods if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by such circumstances. In the event that a delivery does not take place, we will agree an alternative delivery date.
We are also not responsible for any delay in delivery caused by the unavailability of someone to take delivery of the products. It is your responsibility to contact the post office or courier company as applicable to arrange the collection or delivery of products that could not be delivered because you were unavailable.

5. returns (paint)
Special Notice Regarding Returns—Please Read Before Purchasing Online
Under European Law, the Consumer Rights Directive ensures a consumer’s rights are protected when you buy from businesses based in the EU, and it is our duty to inform you (Directive on Consumer Rights, Art. 6.1.k) that because all of our tinted paints are bespoke and made to the customer’s order, we cannot offer returns on our paint bought online (or in store).
Regarding tinted paint products, Stillorgan Decor Ltd. is exempt from the 14 day ‘cooling off’ period consumers usually have under European Law. This exemption can be found under the Directive on Consumer Rights, Article 16 sub C:
“Member States shall not provide for the right of withdrawal set out in Articles 9 to 15 in respect of distance and off-premises contracts as regards the following:
(c) the supply of goods made to the consumer’s specifications or clearly personalised.”

We strongly advise that customers order tester pots prior to purchasing cans of paint, as all sales are final.
However, if your goods are late, or a problem is encountered with our paint, you are entitled to the following rights:
The Right To Cancel A Contract If Products Do Not Arrive Within 30 Days Of Order
All customers should receive the goods no later than 30 days from the date of purchase, unless for some reason an alternative date has been agreed. However, in the unlikely event that the goods are not delivered within this time frame, we advise contacting us as soon as possible to arrange another date for delivery that is suitable for you, or at this point you also have the right to cancel the contract and receive a full refund due to the delay.
Whereby the contract is cancelled due to delay in excess of 30 days, we are obliged to refund you any money that you have paid for products within 14 days of cancellation.
The Right To Return Something That Is Faulty
If you buy something through distance selling, such as online or over the phone, and it turns out to be faulty, then your consumer rights are the same as if you bought it in a shop.
However, it is important that our customers are made aware that the adhesion of paints and primers are subject to the surrounding conditions. Proper surface preparation is crucial to maximum finish performance. The durability of our products can be impaired by an unsound or poorly prepared surface. Surfaces must be clean, dry and sound before painting, and paint must be stored upright, in dry condition and away from freezing or close to freezing temperatures. We also strongly advise all users to refer to our most up-to-date application advice on the paint can you are using before application.
6. returns (wallpaper)
All returns must be notified to us within 7 days of receipt of your order using [email protected] quoting your Name, Order ID and reason for return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging and resale able condition.
All costs relating to postage for returns are the buyer’s responsibility and we would advise on the use of a professional courier.
Returns to UK wallpaper suppliers will be subject to customs and duty charges at the cost of the customer.
Please note that all wallpaper returns will incur a restocking fee of 30%.

7. returns (lighting & mirrors)
Returns of Lighting
If you would like to return a light fitting you may contact us within 14 days of receipt of purchase. You may return the item to store personally for a refund minus the original delivery charge or return via courier.
Please note that returns of all light fittings and mirrors over €200 will incur a supplier restocking fee of 20%.
Please note that you will be responsible for all transport costs when returning an item to us.

We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

For all online orders you have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. Please note this does not apply to tinted paint and/or primers as is our industry standard. It also does not apply to lighting which is part of our Bespoke Lighting Collection. This also does not apply to wallpapers which are specially ordered as we do not stock them in-store.
The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day on which you acquire, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you acquires, physical possession of the last good.
Our bespoke or customised light fitting items are not covered by our standard returns policy. These are ‘made to measure’ light fittings that are made to your individual requirements and cannot be resold by us. We will work with you and do our utmost to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your order before your light is made, but regret we are unable to offer refunds on bespoke fittings after the initial 24 hour cooling off period. Our production and delivery time for bespoke items is 2-3 weeks. (None of the above affects your statutory rights where goods are faulty or not as described).
faulty items
Please check your goods within 48 hours of their arrival. Check that there are no breakages, the product is what you ordered or the finish is correct.
Depending on the fault we may be able to send replacement parts as soon as possible otherwise please contact us on [email protected]
Unsuitable items can be accepted back for a refund providing that they have not been installed and the wire of the light fittings hasn’t been cut.
They should be returned with the original packaging to ensure the product is not damaged on the return journey.
To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you, excluding the costs of delivery. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you.
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than – (a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or (b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or (c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction.

9. cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel the contract between us if, for example:
- We have insufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered;
- Our merchant bank fraud department flag transaction as suspicious;
- We do not deliver to your area;
- One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price.
If we do cancel your contract we will notify you by e-mail and will re-credit to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card/PayPal account not later than 14 days from the day cancellation was made.
10. title and risk
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you and we have received clear funds in full payment for the goods. Once goods have been delivered to you or a person nominated by you they will be held at your own risk and you will be responsible for them.
11. events beyond our control
We will have no liability to you for any delay in delivering goods you have ordered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control(including, without limitation, accidents, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, flood, storm, earthquake, natural disaster, failure of telecommunications networks, inability to use transport networks, etc.).
12. general
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the validity, legality or enforceability of any other part of these Terms and Conditions and the remainder of the provision in question will not be affected.
No person other than you and us shall have any rights to enforce our agreement, whether under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties Act) 1999 or otherwise.
If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under our agreement, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under our agreement, unless we agree in writing.
We may update, vary and amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Each time you order or otherwise purchase any goods from us, the Terms and Conditions in force at that time will apply (as set out on this site). Please check this site to ensure that you understand which Terms and Conditions apply.
